Full moon settled

Bright upon a

darkened canvas

words wrapped in riddles

shrouded mystery

beyond the alluring veil

of her gentle gaze

A single tear cascade

fingers locked tight

like barricaded doors

on our vulnerable hearts

greatest desires expressed

Only by the movements

of tongues dancing

behind imparted lips

our overwhelming urge satisfy

through body heat exchanged

only by disrupting the silence

does the veil finally part

and all else subsides

Love springs forward into music

played between the two of us

and you are mine at last

in this dim candle lit heaven
