Grief And Sweet Memory

Dancing With Nature

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I felt the world yawn today, as a warm soothing breath passed, caressing my face

I watched as it knowingly prepared for the dawning, each tree stretching upward, in thanks, towards the sky

As if it had just awakened from a deep, restful slumber. I smiled as I tasted adventure pass by

The soft, fragrant fog unfurled before me, revealing new wonders of newness and hope. Intoxicating wisps of excitement took over, graciously inviting me to join in

It's steps, like a secret, silently rolled away. Uncovering new music, joyful songs of the birds. Where grief and sweet memory mingle together in battle, this delicate dance between nature and I
