Love Lost Found, Stay Lost

Sometimes, lost love is best left lost.

Don't care for that lost love found

I lost it then

and I'll lose it again.

There's nothing there for me

but broken hearts, broken promises.

And a bad taste that keeps

souring my soul.

I care

Little for this.

I care

Nothing for this.

I may have fallen once

but I won’t fall for it again.

The pain’s not worth it.

Let it remain

Lost to me

and to her.

We’ve been down that road.

Why go down it again?

We’ve tasted the sweet fruits

but the sweetness is gone.

No more. No more.

Time to move on.

Time to find a taste

that isn’t sour.
