Several players had tested positive for anabolic steroids and were subsequently put on probation. Though I didn’t see why Coach Elmers was punishing the few who didn’t pop on the tests. Try-outs were announced to replace the missing players. No one could try out without taking a piss test first, so it was slow-moving. They said they didn’t care about booze or weed, but many students abused stimulants and party drugs.
