Poor Beckett Eggington
If you asked Beckett Eggington what his least favorite method of travel was, he'd say planes. Ever since he was five years old he had been deathly afraid of them. Not because of crashes. Or anything of that sort. No, he wasn't somehow terrified of those things happening. As his Mother had told him when he was younger the chances of car crashes being higher. It did make him a little weary of riding in the car with either her or his Father behind the wheel for a few days. Though, Beckett did his best to hide that and relax after a week with nothing happening.

A Warning From Beyond
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. In the glass of my bedroom full-length mirror was a grown woman. One who was wearing a gas station uniform like my own that was stained with blood. Her mouth had some dribbling down it as well. And her big blue eyes were trained on me as I stared at her.

Being Lectured
Normally when anything that shouldn't be talking starts talking, things aren't right. Either it's a dream that you're having. Or that you're drugged or something like that. At least, in my experience you've been drugged to the gills with something. A few times I've heard that sometimes it happens if you have a brain injury. Like it'll mess with you for weeks or months at a time. Possibly longer if I remember it right.

Midnight Dancing
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. I can't remember a time where this hadn't happened. Or can imagine a night where it didn't. But my Da said he vaguely remembered a time where it hadn't. He said he could somewhat recall a night where it hadn't. Though the memory was pretty hazy as he was a little child when it started. And he couldn't entirely place when it had started to be like this.

Things That Have Been Witnessed
If walls could talk, we could tell you about so many things. All the things we have seen in our years of existence. Like me, I have seen so much from this man. This strange guy who has been here for at least six years. He comes in here for a few times out of the month.

Who's The Prey Now?
Rayne had been on the island for two days now. Things had been more than he anticipated they would be. The tropical island he'd flown to not that long ago. He had been spending so much time partying. Staying out as late as he wanted. Sleeping really late without anyone get upset with him for once. For once, everything was going how he desired.

The Terrible Ex
It had been three weeks since Valentino broke up with his ex-girlfriend. Noelle, his ex, had been cheating on him for the past three months. With various guys that he didn't know. And was somewhat glad for this fact. She also had been stealing money from him while doing so. Keeping it pretty secret as she did so. Only finding out about it from the last guy she'd been screwing. Who was somewhat of a good guy, he didn't seem to know she was in a relationship until he saw Val's pics. He felt bad enough to leave him a secret note for him. Putting the thing in his top drawer of his dresser when Elle wasn't in the room.

It's Beginning to Look Like
The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. Cassia couldn't see a lot outside the tiny gap in the curtains. And she wished that she could see more than the tiny bit. From what she could tell, it looked beautiful. There was a ton of snow on the ground.

Drama-free Christmas
We drove up the snowy, winding road towards the cozy A-frame cabin. It had been so long since we had a proper vacation together. At least for the holidays. Jay and I really needed this time together. With everything going on in the world as well as all the stresses of work. Along with a ton of drama from my side of the family. All of it was a lot to deal with. They kept asking us so many personal questions. So many that we've really had enough about it. They were just annoying stuff like whether or not we're getting married anytime soon, we're not. And we probably never going to be as we don't see it as necessary. If we were ever going to be giving my Mom grandchildren, again probably no. Well, maybe no. As we're still on the fence about that. Since we don't feel ready for that kind of responsibility just yet.

The Strange Box
Sunshine hadn't expected to be woken up by a drone. Yet, she was. It was around five in the morning. And she woke up to the sound of one arriving at her doorstep. By the time she fully woke up and got her bathrobe on, it was gone. The fact that it came at all had her curious. Just why had it come? Who had sent it? Why did it hover over her front steps for?
