It's All About The Love For Animals: The Zoophile Subclass
Lizbeth had to deal with a great elk and the druid who wanted to stop it. The elk had been targeting humans coming into its forest and the druid wanted to stop it. She had put herself between the two, literally. She yelled at the druid in his own tongue. “Have you tried talking to it?”

Mass Effect 2: The Second Verse
When I reviewed the original Mass Effect two years ago, I figured I'd be doing the rest of the series soon after...and then I got distracted by other games. Still, the sequels have been on the proverbial backburner for a while now, and I figured it was time to continue the adventures of Commander Shepard.

The Video Game Problem
Anyone who has spent time inside a well-designed game recognizes the sensation immediately. Effort is rewarded quickly. Progress is visible. Feedback is constant. Even failure is structured to feel informative rather than discouraging. Time passes, attention narrows, and a sense of momentum builds. A younger man, barely more than a boy, sat astride the animal, holding aloft a banner with his master's sigil; a gauntleted fist clutching a broken sword.

The Speedster: The Fastest Warlock Alive!
Taz ran by the field at full speed. He had had to run up the cliff that protected it, no doubt surprising some soldiers who weren’t expecting someone to run up the walls protecting this field. He quickly estimated how many soldiers were camped here, made some notes, and then ran out as fast as he could. He made the mistake of running straight for the exit. He stopped for a moment to focus, allowing magic to enhance his speed even further. He was struck by a couple of arrows, but they didn’t hurt as much as they should. They had closed the door in front of the cliff walls. He smiled as he passed through it like a ghost. The information he had gathered would make it through to his superiors.

Mysteries of the Cult of the Scale
The squamous form of the cobra-headed viperian swayed and undulated in the haze of burning incense and throbbing reverberations of alien music. The air seemed to shimmer and throb with anticipation. Then out of the smoke appeared the image of a many-headed serpentine figure, King Typhonus, the Viperian Overlord...
