What Being Vegan for a Year Taught Me
Six years ago I decided to try out veganism. For those that don’t know a vegan is someone who doesn’t eat meat, eggs, dairy products, and all other animal-derived ingredients. Some vegans don’t consume honey or white sugar because the process making it uses animal products. For me it was more about not eating animal ingredients, but I still consumed honey and sugar.

5 Must-Have Trader Joe's Vegan Holiday Items To Keep It Festive From Home
Holidays are of course looking really different this year due to COVID, which is a bummer, but I always remind myself that life is what you make of it! So, just because we can't spend the holidays with the family and friends we usually would, doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves a little fun from home.

100% Vegan : Soft Vanilla and Ginger Shortbread Biscuits
Of course, you probably know me very well for invading Vocal with my film studies stuff and articles entitled ‘a filmmaker’s guide’. I have often explained that I love to bake as well. Since I was young, I have loved the idea, the creativity and the relaxation of baking different things. I love to make macarons, layer cakes and gingerbread in particular and the activity of it really gets me away from my laptop (where I’m sure you know that I spend most of my life). So, I hope you enjoy me talking about what I bake and why I bake it complete with pictures (if not very good) of me actually baking, my baked goods in the process of being created and when they’re finished. I’m really happy to share this with you. And if you like, you can show me your baking (yes, I spend a lot of time writing, but I also spend a lot of time reading other people’s articles!), I would love to see it. Since I was in school, I was always interested in creating things, whether that be pieces of writing, welding things to make small statues or baking foods and making sweets (candy, if you’re American). I hope you enjoy looking at some of the stuff that has honestly kept me sane, because I seem to be going slightly mad.

veganism
Hi, I want to talk to you guys about veganism, I know I know, people don't like vegans because we're seen as pushy, preachy, obnoxious, so on and so forth. But hear me out, we don't mean to come off as obnoxious or any of the above, what we want is to teach you guys about the way your food is brought from farm to plate, we want you to know what you're eating and putting in your body, not because we hate you or want to "force our views on you" in fact its the opposite. Yes the opposite, we promote watching a documentary on youtube which is two hours long, and to be quite honest very graphic, so I'll spare you, unless you already know what the documentary is called and have seen it, as I have. so let me dive in, as I've been slightly rambling so far.

The Perfect Cure To a Fall Sweet Tooth.
Once fall season arrives, baking is one of the things that I can always do with my sister. It started in Fall 2019. In our old apartment, we would always find ourselves baking new recipes and cooking new dishes. It was something we did very often. We’d always bring our Bluetooth speaker into our little kitchen and think of new foods or desserts to make.
