After a long semester of college, all Hayden wanted to do was relax and do nothing. Hayden got a room at a small, run-down hotel in his hometown of Holbeck called Charlie's. It definitely needed some work done on the outside. Walking in through the front door, the decor was swanky on the inside with its out-of-date eighties style as you walked in. He paid for his room, placing his things inside, and decided to go to Moe’s Diner down the road.

The structure is haunted by innumerable spirits, some going back over 200 years. Built in 1754, it is the oldest inn in Connecticut. People who stay in the rooms here have encountered the ghostly apparition of a Confederate soldier and the spirit of a former employee, Joseph Hardesty, as well as a female ghost who likes to wake up visitors in the middle of the night. A lot of strange noises can be heard like footsteps and disembodied voices.
